Common Name The Median Thelymitra - The Tall Sun Orchid

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in New South Wales and Victoria Australia at elevations of 200 to 800 meters in wet scleophyll forests with heathy or densely shrubby understory as a medium to giant sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a single leaf that blooms in the spring and early summer on an erect, 12 to 40" [30 to 100 cm] long, 7 to 30 flowered inflorescence with 2 to 3 sterile bracts.
