Common Name The Epipactis-Like Thelymitra - The Metallic Sun Orchid

Flower Size 1.2" 1.6" [3 to 4 cm]

Found in Victoria and South Australia in grasslands, heathlands and scrubby forests at elevations of sea level to 200 meters as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a single, thick, leathery, often yellow green leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 10 to 20" [25 to 50 cm] long, 5 to 20 flowered inflorescence with several large bracts.
