Common Name or Meaning The Lance-Like Trichoglottis [refers to the leaves]

Found in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Borneo, Java and Sumatra in hill forests at elevations of 500 to 1200 meters as a large sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with thin, pendulous, laxly leafed stems carrying several, varry narrowly lanceolate, unequally acuminate apically, leathery leaves that blooms in the fall on numerous, on fasciles opposite the leaves, short, mostly single to 3 flowered, inflorescence
This species and t maculata are very similar and differ mostly in the rounded apice of the sides of the midlobe.
