Common Name Olmos' Trichopilia

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in northwestern Panama on Caribbean facing slopes of inland mountains near Boca del Toros at elevations of 1000 to 1200 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte that blooms in the summer with fragrant flowers.

CAUTION There are 2 orchid species depicted here, The first and most likely correct for this species name is the 1st photo by Bogarin, the next 2 photos are close to what Dressler called T modesta in Orquideologia VOl 23 #1 2004 which is the last photo.
