Found in Kalimantan Borneo in hill forests at elevations of 900 to 1700 meters as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an erect, hairy stem carrying linear-lanceolate, hairy, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the spring on a lateral, ascending to descending, short, well spaced, few flowered inflorescence
