Found in Bolivar Venezuela at elevations around 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, microscopically scabeous lepanthiform sheaths and carrying an erect, thickly coriaceous with convex surfaces, suborbicular, obtuse, broadly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a filiform, .4 to to .6" [1 to 1.5 cm] long, successively single 2 flowered inflorescence arising from near the apex of the ramicaul.
