Common Name The Dispersed Tropidia
Flower Size .4" [1 cm]
Found in Fiji and Samoa in montane forests at elevations around 400 meters as a small to large sized, hot growing terrestrial with lanceolate, acuminate, very shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, simple to few branched, to 4.8" [12 cm] long, successively single many flowered inflorescence with distichous, conduplicate, broadly ovate to lanceolate, acuminate, as long as to longer than the ovary floral bracts.
T disticha is similar and may prove to be conspecific, but it is a later name so this name would still take precedence." Whistler & Cribb 1996
