Found in Sulawesi as a warm to hot growing, large clumping, monopodial epiphytic Vanda from North Sulawesi with an elongate stem carrying many strap-shaped, v-shaped at the base, strongly decurved, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the winter through spring on an axillary, shorter than the leaf, to 15" [37.5 cm] long, loosely 5 to 9 flowered inflorescence carrying Flowers that are 4 - 5 cm across with a vanilla fragrance and last for several weeks.
