Found in India, Myanamar, Thailand and Yunnan China on forest margins at elevations of 800 to 1550 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ligulate, narrow leaves with the apex notched and blooming in the spring on an axillary, longer than the leaf, paniculate inflorescence with several to many, fragrant flowers.
