Common Name Liouville's Vanda - In Thailand Sam Poi Nok
Flower Size .8 to 1.6" [2 to 4 cm]
Found in Myanmar, Thailand and Laos as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an erect stem carrying slightly twisted, strap shaped leaves and is similar to V brunnea but has slightly larger flowers and blooms in the late winter and early spring on an axillary, to 20" [50 cm] long, several [10 to 15] flowered inflorescence with slightly fragrant flowers.
