Found in Cundinamarca Colombia at elevations around 1500 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with stout, erect, ramcauls enveloped by 4 to 6, loose, oblique, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apcial, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a [.8 to 1 cm] long, successively single flowered inflorescence arising through an annulus from near the apex of the ramicaul and oblique, acute floral bracts.
