Common Name The Short Petaled Zygopetalum
Flower Size 3" [7 cm]
Found in the higher mountainous regions of Brazil at elevations around 1000 meters as a large sized, cool to warm growing terrestrial with ovoid-oblong pseudobulbs carring 2 to 3, apical, lanceolate-ensiform, leaves that blooms on a ridgidly erect, 3' [90 cm] long, few to several [4 to 10] flowered inflorescence with waxy, fragrant, long-lived flowers occuring in the fall and winter.
