Common Name The Confused Acianthus

Flower Size .4 to .6" [1 to 1.5 cm]

Found only in New Caledonia in wet dense forests at elevations up to 1100 meters as a small sized, warm growing terrestrial with a reddish stem carrying a single, ovate, deeply cordate, erose margined leaf held midway from the ground that blooms in the winter on an erect, terminal, 2 to 7 flowered inflorescence
