Found in Sabah and Sarawak Borneo in lower montane forests at elevations of 1400 to 2100 meters as a small sized, pendulous, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a thin pendulous stem carrying distichous, linear-lanceolate, tapering to an acuminate, slightly bidentate, apex, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, reflexed-arcuate, 2" [5 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with oblong to narrowly lanceolate, concave, reflexed floral bracts and carrying yellow flowers
