Common Name Hamer's Beloglottis [Fritz Hamer German Orchid Enthusiast and Collector in South America 1912 to 2004]
Flower Size .08" [2 mm]
Found in Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Costa Rica at elevations around 1800 meters as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with basal, elliptic, subacuminate, gradually narrowing below into the canaliculate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an erect, terminal, glabrous below pubescent above, somewhat purple, to 10" [25 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate,acuminate, slightly shporeter tha the ovary floral bracts and carrying green flowers with white apices and white petals with a green central, horizontal nerve.
