Found in Taiwan in broadleaf forests of Mt. Peitawu at an elevation around 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized in flower, in fruit small sized, cool growing terrestrial with ovoid tubers giving rise to an erect, terete, glabrous stem carrying several, fleshy, elongate-elliptic, green but pale-green underneath, acute at apex, keeled underneath, contracted below into the sessile, clasping base leaves that blooms in the later summer on an erect, short, single flowered inflorescence with an elongate-elliptic, acute, much longer than the flower floral bract. .
