Flower Size tiny

Found in Vichada department of Cololmbia in grasslands at elevations around 150 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing terrestrial with an erect, delicate, stem carrying basal leaves absent at flowereing occuring in the spring on an erect, glabrous in the upper half, peduncle 3.6 to 8" [9 to 20 cm] long, provided with 4 to 5, thin, acute, sparsely glandular along the margins, remote cauline sheathing bracts, rachis .8 to 1.28" [2 to 3.2 cm] long, densely 12 to 25 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, , longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying tiny, sessile flowers.
