Common Name Glaziov's Centroglossa [French orchid Collector Brazil late 1800's]

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in Rio de Janiero state of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome, giving rise to clustered, ovoid-oblong, slightly compressed pseudobulbs and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, lanceolate-linear, slightly folded, basally attenuate leaf that blooms in the spring in Brazil on a basal, 1 1/4" long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence arising on a mature pseudobulb with a large tubular, acute bract below the middle and carrying large flowers for the size of the plant.

Said to be a synonym of C macroceras but I have left them separate as there are quite a few differences.
