Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to thin, filiform pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect-patent to erect, glabrous, terete, subulate, acute, sulcate above leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an apical, fasciculate, few flowered inflorescence.

Schlechter states that the flowers are white and the lip is glabrous
