Found in New Guinea at elevations around 600 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to thin, filiform pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect-patent, glabrous, terete, subulate-filiform, acute leaf that blooms in the winter on an apical, fasciculate, few flowered inflorescence.

Schlechter states that the flowers are white and the lip is hairy
