Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to thin, terete pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, glabrous, slightly furrowed above, subulate-filiform, terete, acute leaf that blooms in the early summer on an apical, fasciculate, several flowered inflorescence.

Schlechter states that the flowers are plain pale yellow colored
