Found in northern Sumatra at elevations of 1400 to 1700 meters as a cool growing epiphyte with a long and pendulous, branchong rhizome giving rise to very short, widely spaced stems carrying a linear-lanceolate, narrowing towards the apex, petiolate base leaf that blooms in bundles, peduncles .64 [1.6 cm] long, thin, hairy, single flowered inflorescence with oblong-triangular, acute, concave floral bracts and carrying cream colored flowers.
