Common Name The Inflated Ceratostylis

Flower Size

Found in New Guinea at elevations around 450 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with terete, glabrous pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, erect, lanceolate, acuminate leaf that blooms in the fall on a short, few flowered inflorescence.

Schlechter states that the flowers are reddish on the outside and whitish on the inside with the lip being yellow towards the apex.
