Found in northwestern Madagascar in tropical forests as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with almost no stem carrying 4 to 7, elliptical ligulate, very shortly contracted basally, widest in the middle leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a from beneath the leaves, 4" [10 cm] long, loosely,8 to 15 flowered inflorescence with oval, slightly shorter than the pedicel floral bract.
