Common Name Thr Rio Pacuare' Chaubardiella [A River in Costa Rica]

Flower Size 2 1/4" [5.5 cm]

Found in Costa Rica and Panama to Ecuador in wet tropical forests at elevations of 750 to 1500 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte without pseudobulbs that has a fan of somewhat concave, lanceolate leaves becoming conduplicate at the base that blooms in the late summer and fall on a basal, pendant, 1" [2.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying a non-resupinate flower.
