Found in Cusco department of Peru in wet montane forests at elevations around 900 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a fan shape of 4, oblanceolate, acuminate, glossy dark green, subcoriaceous, conduplicate into the base leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a scapose, pendent, single flowered inflorescence carrying a non-resupinate flower that is adpressed to the substrate.
