Flower Size .16 to .18" [3.5 to 4.5 mm] long

Found in southern Vietnam in primary and secondary broad-leaved, evergreen, humid forests on granite, commonly on wet mossy rocks along waterfall cliffs at elevations of 400 to 600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing lithophyte with a repent, fleshy, succulent, leafless, light pale grey greenish, cylindrical, apically ascending, glabrous rhizome then erect, more or less straight, aphyllous, glandular-pilose stem carrying narrowly triangular, acuminate, yellowish, scarious, glandular-pilose bracts, that blooms in the late fall and winter on an erect, short, long glandular pilose, corymb-like, dense to sub-lax, 1 to 10 flowered inflorescence with pale olive-greenish to scarious hyaline, triangular-cuneate, conduplicate, acuminate, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying hardly opening, tubular, resupinate flowers

"Among Indochinese representatives of the genus, the new species may be closest related to Cheirostylis thailandica Seidenf. but it distinctly differs in the much smaller habit, much smaller flowers, a dense, long, glandular, white indumentum, an erect deeply dissected lip, shorter petals and paired papillae on the hypochile."
