Common Name Gunnar's Cheirostylis [G Seidenfaden Danish Diplomat and Botanist 1900's]

Flower Size .4" [1 cm] long

Found in Arunachal Pradesh state of India at elevations around 300 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a pendent, many noded stem carrying many, at each node a single, cordate, acute, alternate, adpressed to the stem, sessile leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a glandular pubescent, peduncle .8" [2 cm] long, provided with 2 to 3 sterile bracts, growing in the same line as the stem, rachis .4" [1 cm] long, 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acute, as long as to longer than the ovary floral bracts.
