Flower Size

Found in southern Yunnan province of China in dense forest in deep shade at elevations around 2100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with an erect, terete, fleshy stem carrying 4 to 8, green, cauline, ovate, acute, rounded below into the petiolate like base leaves that blooms in the late summer and earlier fall on a terminal, erect, extremely short to .4" [1 cm] long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence enveloped by leaf bases and has green, ovate, shorter than the ovary, acuminate floral bracts.

This species and C octodactyla are obviously related but this one has shorter fingers and a larger basal portion of the lip.
