Found in Arunachal Pradesh state of India in shady soil mixed with decayed vegetable matter amidst ferns and small grasses at elevations around 180 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing terrestrial with a prostrate fleshy, dark greenish brown stem turning to an erect, stem carrying about 10, alternate, ovate-lanceolate, acute, with slender basally clasping intothe petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, 2.8" [7 cm] long overall, purple, densely retrorse glandular hairy, provided with 2 lanceolate, sterile bracts, 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acute-acuminate, long glandular hairy, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying secund, dark green tinged with purple, glandular hairy flowers.
