Found only in Java at elevations of 300 to 1000 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a very short stem with gray green roots and when present, small, lanceolate, fleshy, hairy leaves and blooms in the spring on a pendant, densely hairy, 6 to 8" [15 to 20 cm] long, to 10 flowered inflorescence with simultaneously opening flowers

CAUTION!!Said to be synomonous with C lunifera with C lunifera taking precedence but I have left them separate pending more research.
