Common Name The Long Clubbed Chiloglottis - The Northern Wasp Orchid

Flower Size .8 to 1" [2 to 2.5 cm]

Found in northeastern Queensland Australia as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial species on montane ridges, peaks and sheltered slopes and gullies in tall forests and rainforest margins at elevations of 850 to 1500 meters with a 2, basal, ovate to elliptical leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, 2.8 to 4" [7 to 10 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
