Found in northern Guangdong province of China on tree trunks in evergreen broadleaved forests as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a very short stem giving rise to many, long flattened roots and carrying no leaves that blooms in the mid spring on 1 to 2, pendulous, racemose, densely pubescent, .6 to 2.4" [1.5 to 6 cm] long, laxly several flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, glabrous, membraneous, acute floral bracts and carrying glabrous flowers with a densely pubescent pedicel and ovary.
