Found in New South Wales at elevations of 800 to 1500 meters among grass and shrubs in open forests as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with 2 basal, elliptic, obtuse leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, 4.8 to 6.8" [12 to 17 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
