Flower Size .4 to .56" [1 to 1.4 cm]

Found in Java and Queensland Australia in swamps, on mangroves and at rainforest edges and on sheltered ridges and slopes at elevations of sealevel to 200 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphtye with numerous, radiating, flattened, grey green to dark green, roughened roots that blooms in the spring through summer on a thin, rigid, 2 to 6" [5 to 15 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence holding the fragrant flowers in spasmodic groups.
