Found in Queensland Australia at elevations of 400 to 800 meters in shelter of large sandstone boulders in sparse open forests as a miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with elliptic leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, 2 to 3" [5 to 7.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
