Found in New South Wales Australia under dense low shrubs and sedges in black peaty soil at elevations of 1500 to 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with 2 broad, nearly round leaves that blooms in the mid spring to late spring on an .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
