Common Name Gentry's Chondroscaphe [American Co-collector of species late 1900's]

Flower Size 3.52" [8.8 cm]

Found in Esmeraldas Ecuador at elevations around 600 to 1450 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a loose fan of several, oblong, acute leaves that blooms on an axillary, [14 cm] long, several bracted, single flowered inflorescence holding the flower at mid leaf.
