Found in Yunnan China at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool, pendent growing epiphyte with a slightly flexuous stem enveloped completely by leaf bearing sheaths and carrying 3 to 9, districhous, somewhat fleshy, suboblong, slightly falcate, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the summer on a lateral, racemose, pendulous, peduncle 1 to 2" [2.5 to 5 cm] long, rachis elongating with anthesis, 3.4 to 7.2" [8.5 to 18 cm] long, successively 1 to 2, 10 to 30 flowered inflorescence with broadly ovate floral bracts and carrying wide open flowers
