Found in penninsular Malaysia, Java and Sabah and Sarawak Borneo in lowland forests at elevations around 700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying about 3, oblong, asymmetric, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms on an axillary, [4mm] long, 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence

Distinguished by an erect raised point at the apex of the midlobe of the lip that is the same color as the rest of the lip.
