Common Name Archila's Chysis [Orchid Enthusiast and Nurseryman in Guatemala current]

Flower Size 3.2" [8 cm]

Found in Guatemala at elevations around 400 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with a linear in the first 1/3 then becoming elliptic-ovoid, pendent stem carrying 5, thin, basally pleated, elliptic, acuminate leaves that blooms in the late fall on a pendent, to 18" [45 cm] long, to 12 flowered inflorescence with sub-triangular, acuminate floral bracts carrying large flowers for the genus.
