Found in Sao Paulo state of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with close set, small pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, erect, linear-lanceolate, acuminate leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on often more than one, fractiflex, erect, shorter than to equal to the length of the leaves, to 2.8" [7 cm] long, to 10 flowered inflorescence with cordate, triangular, acute, minutely denticulate floral bracts.
