Common Name The

Flower Size to almost 1" [to almost 2.5 cm]

Found in Antioquia department of Colombia at elevations around 1000 to 1800 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with linear-oblong, laterally compressed pseudobulbs partially enveloped basally by a few distichous, imbricating, conduplicate sheaths and carry a single, apical, oblong-linear leaf that blooms in the spring on a basal, 2" [5 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence arising on a newly matured pseudobulb through the axil of the sheath.
