Common Name The Broad Lip Cleistes

Flower Size 4" [10 cm]

Found in west central and southeastern Brazil at elevations around 300 meters as a medium to large sized, hot growing terrestrial with an erect, somewhat sinuous, rusty purberulent below, glabrous to glaucous green above stem carrying a few, lax, linear-oblong, densely fleshy, obtuse, concave, basally amplexicaul leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, single flowered inflorescence.
