Found in Yunnan province of Chinain mixed forests on tree trunks at elevations around 700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a short, erect, unbranched stem carrying 4 to 5, subbasal, distichous, flat, linear to narrowly oblong, more or less "V" shaped, conduplicate, fleshy, subacute leaves that blooms in the late spring an a lateral, arching, racemose, laxly sevceral flowered inflorescence with ovate-triangular floral bracts.
