Found in northeastern Laos and northern Vietnam in primary and secondary broad-leaved evergreen dry forests on rocky limestone, commonly on hill and mountain tops at elevations of 600 to 1200 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte that blooms in the spring
