Common Name The Single Anther Cleistes

Flower Size 2.8 to 3" [7 to 7.5 cm]

Found in southeastern Brazil at elevations of 400 to 700 meters as a medium to large sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 6 to 8 ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, somteimes spotted red leaves that blooms in the summer on 2 to 3, terminal and axillary, successively single flowered inflorescence.
