Common Name The Few Flowered Cleistes

Flower Size

Found in Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam? and northern Brazil as a medium to large sized terrestrial with a robust, laxly many flowered stem carrying 4 to 6 erect, oblong to lanceolate-oblong, acute to acuminate, semi-amplexicaul below into the base leaves that blooms on 2 to 3, axillary, single flowered inflorescence carrying small purplish flowers.
