Flower Size 2.4 to 2.8" [6 to 7 cm]

Found in Rio de Janiero and Sao Paulo states of Brazil at higher elevations on humid banks as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with an erect, straight stem carrying ovate-lanceolate to ovate-acuminate, acute, amplexicaul below into the base leaves that blooms in the late summer and fall on 2 to 3, terminal or axillary, successively few, single flowered inflorescence.
