Found in Colombia at elevations around 2500 meters as a large sized, cold growing terrestrial with an erect, slender stem carrying 3, all along the stem, oblong to elliptic-lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a terminal, erect, 3.2" [8 cm] long, laxly 2 flowered inflorescence.
